I have a mixed relationship with winter. On one hand, I find it infinitely easier to warm up than cool down. On the other hand, cold weather means high electric bills and bad roads. And no heirloom tomatoes!
I can’t live on the beauty of snow alone. I need road after road in New Jersey lined with tomato stands. I need my local farm markets to be open!
Alas, there’s nothing I can do. Thus, I dream of a garden that I can’t plant.
Or can I?
